Delivery Guide

Camera-
In the scene where Benny and the social worker are talking, the high angle shot is being used to show Benny is looking down on the social worker, which is ironic as she is the higher participant. Close up tracking slot after phone electrocutes Joyce showing dis-pare. All sheets of boys are eye level to show they are equal. when Benny i shot it is a long shot which zooms in to eleven to show her panic.

Editing-
In the scene of Steve and Nancy in her bedroom a jump cut is used to show the proximity between the teenager. As he moves closer the audience are aware f the advances in the romance within their relationship as it blossoms. When the social worker arrives at Benny's diner, the pace of the cuts, along side the intense non-diagetic music creates a overall tense sense of panic as the officials look for eleven.

Mise en scene-
At the Byers house the colours representing a reminiscing scene, with the browns and pastel colours, however the bright yellow contrast the dark colours to show the significance of this prop later on in the episode. At Benny's diner, Benny and Eleven are wearing is relaxed and comfortable clothes compared to the suited government to show significant  of the government. Nancy's room is a typical 80's girl with light and pastel colours to show her innocence  and purity. When Steve enters the room this dark clothes contrast from the light purity showing how he can change the atmosphere.
